Level West Studioworks, a new modular studio brand from the teams behind Level Acoustic Design and Westwood Joinery, will launch at this year’s MPTS, the UK’s premier event for the media and entertainment industry.
The company delivers highly innovative, pre-built, acoustically controlled studio spaces that can be shipped and installed anywhere in the world, making professional-grade environments more accessible than ever.
Level West Studioworks has been created following a decade of successful collaboration between Level Acoustic Design, a recognised industry leader in the design and development of critical listening environments for music, film, broadcast and post and Westwood Joinery, who are renowned for high-end joinery and technical fit-outs for studio, commercial and residential spaces.
Designed to order, each space is built using a modular room-in-a-room system that offers high levels of acoustic isolation and a faster, more effective alternative to traditional construction. Studios are manufactured in the UK, then shipped to each site and reassembled by local contractors – a model designed to support international rollouts without compromising build or acoustic performance. Level West also manages the full process from initial design through to install, giving clients a single point of contact throughout.
Studios delivered by the team include recording spaces at Abbey Road Studios and The Hit Factory – New York, post-production facilities for Netflix and Lucasfilm, and private home studios for artists such as Max Richter, Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson, and Noel Gallagher to name a few. Other clients include Apple, Deluxe, Spotify, YouTube, Bentley, Disney, Nile Rodgers and Harry Styles.
